Exam Cost
Registration $15 – All students pay a $15 non-refundable registration fee in MPP regardless of F/R eligibility.
First exam $0 – GCPS will pay for one exam (up to $99), as long as the student is enrolled in the course for which they are testing. GCPS will only pay $99.00 towards an AP Capstone Exam (AP Seminar OR AP Research) if it is the only exam; the parent/student is responsible for the additional $48 and will be billed $48 in MyPaymentsPlus.
Each additional exam is $99, with the exception of AP Capstone Exams (AP Seminar or AP Research are $147 each) Free eligibility: $0
Reduced eligibility: $53
Students with Free/Reduced eligibility will receive all exams at zero cost if they are taking the course. If they are not taking the course, they will be charged $53 per exam with the exception of the Capstone exam.
Students who will take AP Comparative Government, AP Government/Politics, AP Macroeconomics, or AP Microeconomics during 2nd semester are encouraged to register for those exams during the first semester registration window.
Note: Late orders, late-testing or cancellations will incur a $40 fee.
