Test Remediation and Retake Policy
In our continued effort to assess our students and their progress towards AKS mastery, we want all stakeholders to know the various processes our teachers follow. The goal of all remediation and reassessment is to bridge the gap between current levels of knowledge and our mastery goals of knowledge regarding the AKS Standards.

Career and Technical Education
Students will have the ability to retake up to one test after specific interventions assigned by the teacher. Because many of our summative assessments are project based, the number of tests in our CTE courses are often less than other classes. The final exam can also be used to replace an additional low test grade.
