PSAT
Grayson High School administered the PSAT on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 7:15 a.m. to all 10th and 11th grade students. Parents and students can learn more about the digital PSAT and access practice tests and resources at https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt. Students do not need to register to take the test as they will be automatically registered by the school.
There are no make-ups if students are absent or arrive late.
PSAT/NMSQT student score reports are scheduled to be released on 11/14/24. There will be no paper reports, but students can access their scores on the college board website. Please reach out to your student's school counselor for additional assistance.
Any 11th grade students who were not able to participate in this year’s PSAT/NMSQT administration, please visit the National Board Scholarship website. It provides information regarding an alternate route of entry to the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program.
About the PSAT:
The Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/ NMSQT) is a program co-sponsored by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Program. It is a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT. As juniors, the PSAT score is used to determine status as a National Merit Scholar Program and other scholarships. The PSAT results will also help students know how to prepare for the SAT.
Please contact your student’s high school counselor if you have questions about the benefits of your student taking the PSAT.

- Test without a registration ticket (the ticket will now include a photo of the student which the student uploads during online registration).

- Each student will need to upload a photo of him- or herself when he or she registers online.
