Enrolling Students
For new student enrollment, please call 770-554-7830 or 770-554-7390 to schedule a face-to-face enrollment appointment. During the appointment, you and your student may meet with a counselor to discuss your student's schedule.
Before this face-to-face meeting can occur, you must complete the online registration process. If the online registration is not submitted prior to the scheduled meeting time, you will be directed to a computer at Grayson High School to complete, upload required documents, and submit the registration. This may delay your appointment until a counselor becomes available or we will have to reschedule the meeting.
Please choose one of the three scenarios below to complete your online registration.
Student is brand new to Gwinnett County Public Schools:
1. Review instructions and complete GCPS online registration: New Student Registration Parent Account Activation (student has never attended a GCPS school)
2. All required documents MUST be uploaded during online registration.
3. After submitting online registration, the next step is to schedule an enrollment appointment for you and your student to meet with a counselor to discuss a class schedule. Enrollment appointments can be made by calling 770-554-7830 or 770-554-7390.
4. Bring your student's withdrawal form, transcript/report card, and discipline record from your previous school to the appointment.
5. If student has an IEP, bring copy of the most recent IEP and the IEP eligibility to the appointment.
6. A Georgia 3231 Immunization Record will be required for your student within 30 days of enrollment if your student is new to the state of Georgia.
7. A Georgia 3231 Immunization Record will be immediately required for enrollment if your student is coming from another school in the state of Georgia.
Student is transferring from another Gwinnett County Public School:
1. The enrolling parent must withdraw from the last Gwinnett County Public School and return borrowed device/textbooks/library books.
2. Prior to visiting Grayson High School for an enrollment appointment, you must complete online registration and upload your new residency documentation and ID.
3. Call to make the enrollment appointment at 770-554-7830 or 770-554-7390.
4. Your student must have a current Georgia 3231 Immunization Record to transfer to another GCPS school. Without a current 3231, your student’s enrollment will be delayed until received.
5. Parent/Guardian should bring their photo ID.
6. Plan to bring your student to the enrollment meeting to meet with a counselor about their class schedule.
Student has previously attended a Gwinnett County Public School (but not most recent school of attendance):
1. Gather 2026-27 required documents for school registration, complete online registration, upload all required documents, and schedule an enrollment appointment by calling 770-554-7830 or 770-554-7390. If you do not remember your password, click ‘Forgot Password’ to reset it.
2. If provided, bring your student's withdrawal envelope from the last school, along with a copy of an unofficial transcript and discipline record.
3. If student has an IEP, bring copy of the current IEP and IEP eligibility.
4. Bring your student's current Georgia 3231 Immunization Record. This is required when coming from another Georgia public school. If your student most recently attended an out-of-state school, you will be given a waiver of 30-days to provide a current GA 3231 form.
